Crafted from a lightweight 100% polyamide 40D RipStop nylon material with a DWR finish (Durable Water Repellent) and a PU backing (Polyurethane) with a weight of 54g/m², the Sancho Poncho will keep you and your gear protected from the elements during those harsh nights in the field. The specially for the PITCHFORK product line developed fabric has a technologically advanced "near infrared" (nIR) treatment to reduce the visual signature when viewed through a modern military night vision device.
With its optimal balance between weight, protection and overall size, the Sancho Poncho boasts a 1’600 mmH2O water column (ISO 811:2018 Hydrostatic Pressure Test). It comes with a frontal opening to access an underneath worn plate carrier, chest rig or other equipment. Thanks to the vertical frontal zipper and the large hood, the poncho can easily be used with a combat helmet and other headgear. An adjustment strap on the backside of the hood allows to keep that peripheral sight when needed most and small flap provides additional face protection during rain.
The Sancho Poncho can be carried with sides open or buttoned down. Comes with a compression / transportation bag.
